Lobster Pot is a college ultimate tournament organized by Maine Ultimate. It hosts over 90 college teams and 2,000 athletes every October, making it the largest college ultimate tournament in the country.
The identity for the tournament has changed every year, which has allowed the tournament to have a unique, fresh look each iteration, but has caused it to lack a consistent, identifiable visual element. The new logo, two lobster buoys floating in water with colors inspired by autumn in Maine, is designed to resemble the tournament’s acronym, creating a consistent, identifiable mark that can be used year after year. In 2025, I designed discs and graphic elements for tournament apparel and merchandise, communicating between Maine Ultimate and merchandise providers.
